Karla Williams is the founder and Artistic Director for J.I.D Theatre Company; the first Christian Theatre Company in London. Her third play MY LIFE was staged at the WAREHOUSE THEATRE in April 2006 and she is currently working on her next project, A trilogy entitled THE LOVE IS. . .SERIES; the first of which is the play LOVE IS PATIENT. She is also a member of Talawa Young Writers Group.

My LifeMy Life
Synopsis:
Kia has more to deal with than your average 16-year-old; her life changes suddenly after the death of her mother and a close friend. Love, pain, faith and loss all have an impact on the resilient Kia in this life-affirming pursuit of strength and happiness. These themes are cleverly interwoven with the usual rites of passage in teenage life to create a bittersweet portrayal of one teenager's discovery of faith as she steers into adulthood.
