Synopsis: A neglected housewife, Irene Pasadena, calls the newspaper and reports that her husband, Jesus, has died just so that people will send her flowers. But the plan goes awry when Thomas, a rookie obituary writer from the local newspaper, arrives at Irene's doorstep to get the full story on Jesus' passing. Flustered, Irene seeks the help of her friend, Mary, an avid romance novel reader, to make up a convincing story. Mary tells Thomas that poor Jesus was killed by a savage fawn. But when Jesus comes home from work, Thomas thinks Jesus has risen from the dead, and Jesus is convinced Thomas is having an affair with his wife. This witty comedy will delight with its abundance of one-liners and use of double entendre.

Synopsis: Finalist, Writer's Digest Annual Writing Contest 2005. Will, a regular Casanova-type, steals Shakespeare's sonnets and recites them as his own in order to woo unwitting coeds. All seems to be going well for Will until he decides to steal James Joyce's novel, Ulysses, and turn it in as his master's thesis since "It's like the middle part of the Bible, no one ever reads it, but everyone agrees it's pretty damn good." But to Will's dismay, he receives a "C." Infuriated, Will seeks out his English professor and demands that she give him an "A"-after all, he reasons, it is the greatest novel of the 20th century. While Will's professor is re-evaluating his thesis, the ghost of James Joyce begins haunting Will and is determined to avenge the crime by stealing Will's girlfriend. Quirky characters abound in this fresh, rollicking farce

Synopsis: In the 1880's Thomas Edison and George Westinghouse were in the middle of the War of Currents as Westinghouse's Alternating Current became a serious rival to Edison's Direct Current. At the same time, electricity was being considered as a more humane alternative to hanging after being proposed by Dr. Southwick who saw a drunk man fall onto a live generator and die instantly. Neither Edison nor Westinghouse wanted their electrical system used for executions and therefore associated with death. Edison began to publicly kill dogs with AC current, giving a quarter to neighborhood children for each stray dog they brought him, to show that AC was dangerous and better for executions. In 1890, William Kemmler became the first person electrocuted after murdering his wife. It took over eight minutes and Westinghouse later said, "They would have done better using an axe." In Trog and Clay, Westinghouse is trying to hold onto his scheming wife, Margueritte, who wants to be an actress, Thomas Edison is using her to get a man electrocuted by A/C current, and Trog and Clay are two foolish dog-catching hobos at the center of it all. Based on actual events, court transcripts and a little imagination.
