Synopsis:
Opus d'Amour is a fictionalized account of the relationship between Russian pianist and composer Alexander Scriabin and the love of his life, Tatiana Shlioytzer. The letters chronicling their affair, which began in 1903 and continued until Scriabin's death in 1915, inspired Michelle Vugmayster and Anna Forsythe to write this epistolary one-act play that sheds new light on the central role Scriabin's mistress/muse played in the creation of his many musical masterpieces.
