Biography of Brendon Votipka

Brendon Votipka has been writing for the stage since the winter of 2003 with plays performed at the academic, amateur, professional, and national level. He is a playwriting and directing student at Muhlenberg College in Allentown, Pennsylvania. In 2005, he worked as a writing apprentice at Powerhouse Theater summer program with New York Stage and Film and recently studied at Goldsmiths College in London. Born and raised in Fort Collins, Colorado, Mr. Votipka has been active with his local theater community for his entire life. Favorite dramatic experiences have been with La-De-Da Performing Arts for Young People and Poudre High School. Mr. Votipka's plays have been published inDramatics magazine, Kaleidoscope literary magazine, Smith and Kraus anthologies for best scenes and female monologues of 2004, and by Playscripts, Inc. He sincerely thanks his family and friends in Colorado along with his current theater community at Muhlenberg, his high school teacher Dulcie Willis and his mentor and friend Nick Turner.
