Dana Vitatoe - moved to Los Angeles after studying Theater and Communications at Kent State and Cleveland State Universities in Ohio. He had been a member of The Zeitgeist Theater Company for 15 years, contributing to the company as a director, producer, actor and Playwright-in-Residence. He has had 32 productions of his nearly 70 written plays produced in the Los Angeles area, including 2 short films based on his stage works. Dana began writing at an early age, and wrote his first play in 1980. In 1987, "The Absurdity of Argument" was the first of his plays to be produced. He has produced over a dozen theatrical productions and has directed over 40 plays. Dana's latest work produced in December of 2010 was "24 By One: An Evening of One-Page Plays" at The Hollywood Fight Club Theater. Dana created his production company Shipwrecked Productions in 1988, and continues to pursue his various careers in the entertainment industry. He lives in Los Angeles.

Synopsis:
The physical embodiment of creativity is a disheveled slacker who can't seem to finish any project he works on lately. His creative "demon" talks to him about what he needs to be at his creative best. He is given a young assistant to act as his muse to help him with his creative and physical needs. But when she turns out to be more creative than he is, his ex is brought in to balance the two of them and their creativity, but the two women decide that he is no longer the creative genius that the demon thought he was and decide that he has to go in a rather gruesome way.

Battlestrip

A cheating boyfriend must win a game of "Strip" Battleship in order to redeem himself in his girlfriend's eyes. But as his ships sink and he loses more and more clothes, he starts to believe that she is the one ultimately cheating.

Double Barrel
Synopsis:
A husband arrives home in the Appalachia Mountains to find that his wife believes his favorite hunting dog has rabies. She wants him to shoot the dog and put it out of its misery, but he refuses, thinking that the dog may not have the deadly disease. For the Realm
Synopsis:
The Queen of Ancient Nubia's servant warns her of her husband's (the commanding General of her armies) impending assassination attempt. She doesn't believe the servant, but takes a dagger from her just as the husband arrives to talk of his latest peace negotiations with the warring Romans. He admits that he offered her up as a peace offering, and then they fight when he tries to collect her head as a trophy for the enemy.

Synopsis:
Part 1: Double Barrel: Arley arrives home to find that his wife Red believes his dog has rabies. She wants him to shoot the dog. After his buddy Lester arrives, they cut cards to see who will shoot the continuously barking dog. Part 2: Shootin' Blanks: Red's "loose" sister Rusty visits and talks Red into having Arley get a vasectomy, while Red wants Arley to get the dog neutered. Lester arrives and takes a liking to Rusty, even though she has a "reputation." Part 3: Shotgun Wedding: With a menacing bobcat on the loose, Red and Arley make Lester "marry" the pregnant Rusty. When they try to take her to the hospital when she goes into labor, they can't leave as the bobcat attacks once again. They bring her back into the house to have her baby.

Synopsis:
A young man named Eddie breaks into the house of a gun-toting older man named Max. Eddie is held at gunpoint, and says that he is looking for Max's daughter, whom he claims to have a relationship with. Max thinks that Eddie is there to kill him, as he worked for various people and companies that would want him dead, now that he has a terminal illness and feels that they think he might decide to "confess some of his sins." Shootin' Blanks
Synopsis:
The "loose" sister of a married woman unexpectedly visits her married sister and talks her sister into having her husband get a vasectomy so that she won't get her pregnant anymore. Meanwhile, the wife wants the husband to also get the dog neutered, so that he will stop getting all the other dogs in the hollar pregnant. When his drinking buddy arrives, the older man takes a liking to the younger woman with the "reputation."

Shotgun Wedding
Synopsis:
A menacing bobcat has trapped the 4 occupants in the house up in the hollar in the Appalachians. The married couple make the older man "marry" the pregnant younger woman, then they try to take the woman to the hospital when she goes into labor but can't as the bobcat attacks once again. They bring her into the house to have her baby, as there is not enough time to get her down the mountain to the hospital.
