Richard Vincent trained as an actor at the Drama Centre, London. His first stage production was OFF THE BONE, which had two successful runs at The Courtyard Theatre. He was then invited to join Paines Plough's writers group, which culminated in the rehearsed reading of his one-act play SOLE at The Bridewell Theatre as part of the Wild Lunch season. Richard went on to become the Writer-In-Residence at The Warehouse Theatre, Croydon, who produced two of his plays, HAPPY AND GLORIOUS and SKIN DEEP. His play REAL ESTATE, as well as being adapted for the screen by Granada Film, has also been translated into Italian and has had a run at the Teatro Colosseo, Rome. His radio play, THE LOST, was produced by BBC radio starring Bob Peck and Neil Dudgeon, and he has also written for BBC Radio 7's MAN IN BLACK SEASON, with his play PROJECT PURPLE starring Emily Woof, and BBC Radio 4's WEIRD TALES with THE HOUSE ON PALE AVENUE which will be broadcast in early 2010. Richard has also acted as a script consultant on a number of horror films, including THE LAKE, for Luc Besson's EuropaCorp, and FRAGILE, starring Calista Flockhart. Richard won the animated category of the UK Film Council's 25-Words-Or-Less programme, which resulted in the commission to write FIZZLE, an animated feature film which is currently in pre-production with Cosgrove Hall. He is also working on a trilogy of horror films for Artifice Pictures, the first being &AND YOU WILL DIE, which is also in pre-production. As a writer/director, Richard has also been a regular collaborator with Croydon Youth Theatre, which culminated in him being commissioned to write RUBY, a play which celebrated the group's fortieth anniversary and SHANK, a play about knife-crime, which was the first theatrical piece ever to be performed at Tate Modern. Richard has also written for a number of television projects, including CASUALTY, SHAUN THE SHEEP, which won a Writers Guild Award, Children's BAFTA, and Emmy, and most recently MESSIAH VI.

Happy And Glorious
Synopsis:
It is the day of the Queen's Silver Jubilee, and the quiet seaside town of Tulborough is preparing to celebrate. All that remains is for council workers Alvin and Morton to complete one last job - evicting the eccentric Miss Millicent from her ancient gothic mansion. However, nothing can prepare the sleepy town for the explosive twist that awaits them in the old house, where the oh-so-regal Miss Alexandra Millicent has planned a Jubilee surprise of her own.
