Synopsis: | An exploration of an army wife and mothers anguish as Eleanor relives the joys and struggles of her life. Her story is paired with that of Rashida, an Afghan woman, whose narrative is entirely danced. The two threads interweave, by turns intimate and cinematic, as text blends with dance and physical theatre; this is an ambitious, emotional play that tries not to take sides. Described as a domestic Black Watch, this is cross-arts theatre to make you think. | |||||
