David is a wage slave at Uber-Market. He is awakened to the possibilities in life by Carol the daughter of the owner of Uber-Market. Also at the department store is Warren a self harming gay man. Verda who is so ugly she wears a gas mask all the time. Teenager BJ who was abandoned in the store as a baby and has never left - he thinks he is Sir Galahad
