Notes:

Based on the work of Michelangelo Antonioni, adapted from the films L'Avventura, La Notte, L'Eclisse, adaptation and dramaturgy by Bart Van den Eynde

Synopsis:

Internationally renowned theatre director Ivo van Hove leads his powerful ensemble in this exploration of bourgeois relationships played out in public and in private. Multiple perspectives provide an intimate and visceral insight into the lives of the key characters depicted in Antonionis trilogy as they wrestle with their emotions, indulge their passions and search for the truth. Using the companys signature style of simultaneous live performance with on-stage filming and projection on a giant cinema screen, Antonioni Project is a faithful homage to the great film-makers beautifully observed stories about love affairs, isolation and heartache.
