Synopsis: | This show is part of Manhattan Repertory Theatre's Fall Playfest 2010. Here's the official blurb: Bernard Chapman is a tired playwright, caught in the unflattering throes of a mid life crisis. Mr. Chapman's lifestyle choices have completely alienated him from his family and loved ones. Teetering on the brink of emotional bankruptcy, he is consumed with suspicion and self-loathing. So intense is this deep-rooted contempt for all that he has become, it brings out his demons on a fateful night in August. The demons manifest themselves as characters from his various plays. This ghostly assemblage summoned directly from the bowels of his over-active imagination, vehemently attempt to convince Bernard that he is guilty of an unspeakable act. . .a shocking act of violence. | |||||
