Synopsis:
Backseat Memories is part of a trilogy which follows a group of high school students through their matriculation and afterlife. It focuses on their ups and downs and the trials and tribulations of everyday life in high school.This "chapter" follows the kids as they try out for the Spring Musicale.which is being directed by the school Principal - Richard Hertz. The relationships which are developed are those of friendship and first loves. Cherry, the star of the show gets involved with Spike, tough guy, and needless to say things get out of hand especially when they have their first date at the Drive-In Theatre.

Synopsis:
This compilation of three one act plays with music covers the years 1973 to the present. Based on actual events, the audience is invited to experience the lives of the characters throughout their coming of age during a time when gay life was at its' best and worst. Each act can be presented as a separate enitity. The trilogy: So Young, So Gay, So Many Men - The Boy From AC and Bookmarks For Vernon - can also be offered as a three act presentation. Music rights must be secured prior to production.

Synopsis:
It is the present - 30 years after Roger has lost contact with Vernon after his last letter was returned. Now living in the city, he has been with a life partner for 26 years who knows all about Vernon. 2 of the original friends have passed from aids. He has never forgotten Vernon and still feels an affinity towards him as a friend. Is he still alive? Roger decides to use the internet to locate him. A search returns many matches which he bookmarks and over the next years he attempts to make contact without success, then one night he does an updated search and a match from Florida comes up. He calls and asks if he could speak to Vernon. He comes to the phone, Roger asks him if it was possible that he might be the Vernon he remembered and thought about so many times over the years. It is. They talk for 45 minutes. Roger was thrilled to have found his "friend". Vernon gives him his e-mail - he sends a message and waits for a reply. Does Vernon reply - do they ever talk again? This act has 2 endings which can be interchanged or presented simultaneously.

Synopsis:
1974. -The focus is now on Roger, a successful young Executive. He is back in AC in late Sept. for business. The atmosphere at Dirty Edna's is now that of a cocktail lounge .His "dream" still remains the same -meeting the perfect person to share his life. He enters, across the bar is seated a dark haired young man with an incredible smile. He is captivated by the charming and sophisticated Vernon. They get to know each other and spend the next 2 nights together. They keep in touch and Vernon visits. He is overwhelmed by his desire to profess his love to Vernon, but his reserved personality stops him. Roger receives a letter telling him that Vernon has moved to Florida. He feels he has lost the possible love of his life. Time passes - he receives another letter - Vernon is coming back -could this be Fate? He responds but his letter is returned undeliverable. Six months later he gets another letter - Vernon met someone who asked him to be his lover - he said Yes. Roger now knows that he and "The Boy From AC" are destined only to be friends.

Everything Goes was made into a short film starring the original cast and won acclaim at the Liberty Film Festival in 1976.
Synopsis:
Meet Rose Petal and Gloria Hole - two small town drag queens whose major ambition is to make it "big" and become the Stars they think they are. They've just gotten the biggest gig of their life and they are headed to the big city for their debut. On the way they get side tracked at a local rest area known to be frequented by homosexuals. Their journey is filled with fun and laughter when they encounter a stranger at the rest area who turns out to be their new boss.

Synopsis:
The year is 1973. The location is Atlantic City, New Jersey - the mecca for young gay men who want to experience gay life as one continuous party. As the curtain rises you find yourself in Dirty Edna's - a gay disco where four friends, Roger - the hopeless romantic, Ed - the one night only stud, Bruce - the shy but "trashy" red haired cutie and Chuck - "I'll try anything once" hunk - have gathered to celebrate their gayness which will become a summer ritual for a few years to follow. Each has their own agenda. They laugh, they cry, they party and they reach for their "dream" while discovering themselves and learning about each other. The audience will laugh with them as they experience a lifestyle which until now was only a fantasy. Each character begins to develop his own lifestyle which will eventually seal his fate. The act ends in the disco as the crowd dances to the strains of "Wanted - Young Men Single and Free".
