Lydia Stryk's plays, including MONTE CARLO, her 'house trilogy': THE HOUSE OF LILY, GLAMOUR HOUSE and SAFE HOUSE, and most recently, ON CLARION, AMERICAN TET and GHOST MALL, have been read and staged at festivals around the United States and produced at, among others, Steppenwolf Theatre Company, Victory Gardens, Denver Center Theatre, Contemporary American Theatre Festival and HB Studio Theater, New York, as well as in Germany at Schauspiel Essen, Theaterhaus Stuttgart and the Bonn Biennale. She is the recipient of a Berrilla Kerr Award and is a member of Pen American Center.

What happens when Lily, a lesbian-feminist with unshakeable views on men, marriage and motherhood, brings her aging father who is slipping into dementia home to live with her? In this tragic-comedy of manners, Lily's world is turned upside down as her father begins to turn Lily into first her mother and then other roles she has rebelled against her whole life. Add to the mix, her friend, Gina, who Lily wants as her lover, a theatrically revealed secret about her father that Lily must come to terms with, and you have a hilarious, if ultimately tragic, triangle that changes Lily's life forever.
