Synopsis:

A Super-Powered, Christmas Panto-ish Comedy Adventure from the writer of George the Gladiator. Captain Righteous offers an alternative to a traditional pantomime with a resounding 'Ka-Pow!'. In this action-packed adventure there is much scope for flexible casting with colourful and simple or elaborate staging. Please be warned that it is, frankly, more than a little silly. The evil Red Claw (Boo!) has teamed up with the Godfather of the city of Cosmopolis, Al Cappuccino. Their plan is to kidnap Mayor Grundon Wheelybin, take over the world and blow up Father Christmas and all his elves. What the city needs is a hero, a man who knows no fear, a man who wears his underpants over his trousers& So fear not! For Captain Righteous is here! Defender of justice, enemy of the oppressor, champion of the people, doer of good! You have been warned.

Synopsis:

Now for something completely different to a traditional pantomime. George The Gladiator is presented as a pantomime going wrong combined with costume mix ups. This quite unique, absolutely zany and hilarious Panto-ish Comedy Adventure is packed with Roman legionnaires, gladiators, chariot races (in wheely-bins) and tiger wrestling (with a camel). George the village numpty, becomes a gladiator to save the village, but not without the help of his beloved Sally and his dog Scratch (in a penguin suit). Easily adapted to incorporate local Roman history.
