Christopher Stephen Soden, 25 May 1958, is a writer, teacher, critic, lecturer, performer, and a native Texan. He received his MFA in Writing (Poetry) from Vermont College in January of 2005. He was a flm critic for The Fort Worth Ally and currently writes theatre critique for John Garcia's The Column and Examiner.com. In 2007, Queer Anarchy, a performance piece he wrote received The Dallas Voice's People's Voice Award for Best Stage Performance. In August 2010 he received a full fellowship to Lambda Literary's Retreat for Emerging LGBT Voices in Los Angeles, California. His work has appeared in Ganymede, Gay City 2, Poetic Voices Without Borders, Te Texas Observer, Sentence, Borderlands, Cafe Review, Velvet Mafa, Poetry Super Highway, Gertrude, Touch of Eros, ArLiJo, Windy City Times, and Best Texas Writing 2, and elsewhere.
