Synopsis: The Arab-Israeli Cookbookis a drama created from the everyday realities of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. The project began when the Caird Company sent the writer Robin Soans and directors Rima Brihi and Tim Roseman to Israel, Gaza and the West Bank in 2003. There they sampled a variety of dishes in homes, restaurants, shops and cafés and met dozens of people with different cultures, backgrounds and beliefs. Each person had a story to tell and a recipe to cook. Robin Soans has constructed a verbatim play from the words he collected. Arab and Israeli voices come together to bring insight and understanding to the melting pot of Middle Eastern affairs

Synopsis: Life After Scandal takes you behind the closed curtains and beyond the reach of the telephoto lenses to explore our paparazzi-infested world from the other side, as those implicated in some of the most notorious scandals of recent years talk frankly about the events which transformed their lives. This new verbatim play from the writer of Talking To Terrorists and The Arab-Israeli Cookbook uses the subjects' own words to take an entertaining, compassionate and deeply moving look at the different people, from scorned politicians to powerful PRs, expensive prostitutes to disgraced aristocrats, who find themselves caught up in the modern machinery of scandal.

Synopsis: 'I looked round the room, and I thought, I'm the only person in this room that hasn't killed anyone'. Talking to Terrorists is a play commissioned by the Royal Court and Out of Joint. The writer, director and actors interviewed people from around the world who have been affected by or involved in terrorism. They wanted to know what makes ordinary people do extreme things. Peacemakers, journalists and hostages. Significant figures from recent history. And those who have crossed the line. Their stories take us from Africa, Israel, Turkey, Iraq and Ireland to the heart of the British Establishment.
