Synopsis: Stranded in an airport lounge during the inevitable delay of a holiday flight to Spain, Rosemary and her not-very-bright daughter, Mandy draw the reluctant Dennis and Shiela into conversation. Sheila has suggested a holiday to try to right her ailing marriage; Rosemaey is looking for a husband for Mandy. The comic tone of the play shifts continually between Rosemary`s malapropisms and Dennis` grimly humourous bigotry with the close of the play finding Rosemary unmoved by the chaos she has caused and Dennis near to a nervous breakdown | ||||

Synopsis: If Neville Rampling had known who was really playing at Watergate Meadow, he would never have agreed to referee that Saturday. Neville (or ist Nigel ?) dreams of officiating at a Wembley Cup Final, but his refereeing career has so far been distinguised only by his perseverance. Hampered by a wife hell-bent on buying D.I.Y. furniture, a club chairman as crooked as a corkscrew, and a strange Polish `train-spotter`, Neville (or ist Norman ?) becomes involved in pre-match preparations which are a comic drama of epic proportions. | ||||
