Rachel graduated from Manchester Metropolitan University in 1992 with a degree in Theatre Arts. She has worked extensively in theatre (Manchesters Royal Exchange, Library Theatre, Contact, Liverpool Everyman, Birmingham Rep, Sphinx) and also on radio and TV (Coronation Street, The Royal, Eastenders, Cracker, Sherlock Holmes, Emmerdale). Her stage play, ORPHANS AND BASTARDS, was selected by North West Playwrights as part of the Wordsmith 2012 festival. It received a script-in-hand performance at Oldham Coliseum, directed by Rachel Brogan.
