Lilac Domino, The

Wealthy old silk merchant Gaston Le Sage has married a woman very much his junior. Leonie the new bride is more interested in Le Sage's young nephew, Paul. Paul is engaged to Georgine but she loves Count Andre de St Armand. Georgine arrives at a masked ball wearing a lilac domino mask. The Count and his three friends have lost heavily at cards and decide that one of them must marry a rich woman. A toss of the dice decides that the Count must be the one to marry. At the ball he spots the woman in the lilac mask and makes advances to her
