Samara Siskind is a Florida based actress and playwright. Her full-length play, Fell in Love with a Girl was critically acclaimed and nominated for a Carbonell Award as well as a South Florida Curtain Up Award for Best New Work. Ms. Siskind has written three other full-length plays; Missing Jane, Conception, and Dog-Eared, as well as several published children's plays including I Was a Teenage Prom Queen, Don't Touch That Dial, Little Play of Horrors, Remember When, and Swingset. Ms. Siskind's work has also been published inPlays, the Drama Magazine for Young People, and will be featured in Volume II ofYoung Women's Monologues from Contemporary Plays. Ms. Siskind holds a BFA in Regional Theatre from Webster University's Conservatory of Theatre Arts.
