Notes:

The fastest theatre can happen in the shortest time and The 24 Hour Plays proves it! Conceived in New York some 15 years The 24 Hour Plays has been wowing audiences ever since not just in America but London too, most notably at The Old Vic Theatre. For the first time we have been given permission to bring it to you at the Kenneth More Theatre! But how does it work? Thirty-six (24 actors, 6 directors and 6 writers) creative maniacs arrive at the theatre on Saturday night with nothing more than passion and ideas. After introductions six groups are created with the actors and directors going home to rest, while the six writers cast and create six new plays overnight. At 6am on Sunday morning scripts are delivered to the directors and rehearsals begin, against the clock. Everyone have less than 12 hours to rehearse their show and make it fly because at 7.30pm the curtain goes up to a sold out audience who will see theatre created in just one day

Synopsis:

An absurd snapshot of life in a palliative care facility.
