Her approach places a strong emphasis on collaboration and engagement. Whether in a public space, in a theatre or on the page, Rajni finds ways to shift perspectives and invite intimate dialogue with strangers. Rajni Shah has performed in the UK, Europe and the usA. She is an Artsadmin Associate Artist and was recently nominated for the Arts Foundation Fellowship Award.

Dinner With America

Synopsis:
By the close of Dinner With America, Rajini Shah has been singing Amazing Grace for nigh on two hours. Her voice is cracked and broken. She can no longer hold her arm aloft like the sStatue of Liberty. She has been stripped of her glittering silver dress, her stars and stripes boots, the glossy blonde wig and makeup mask. She stands before us naked and vunerable.

Glorious

Synopsis:
Glorious explores the spaces of both fear and hope that have emerged as a result of an increased awareness towards climate change, shifts in border policies, and the Dramatic impact of the financial collapse. At a time when many people feel dis-empowered and frustrated, this production beautifully embraces a sense of hope in an unknown future.
