Born in 1949, Christopher has been writing in various forms since the age of 14. As a trained actor, much of my writing has been for the theatre. I have had a number of plays performed in the Kent One Act Play festival and one of these, Blood Acre, reached the final and was performed at the Gulbenkian Theatre in Canterbury. In the area of non fiction, my sphere of interest is criminology. I am the UK editor of the Casebook - Jack the Ripper website (http://www.casebook.org) which is regarded as the world's premier website on the subject. I also have a regularly monthly research column in the magazine The Ripperologist. I have published one book on the subject, "Will the Real Mary Kelly. . .?" which has achieved sales in excess of 600 to date. I am currently working on a second criminology book which will be published later this year. In fiction, my first love has always been what is now called speculative fiction, which I still know as fantasy. My first novel is "The King Sword," first of series of six books. It is this book that I am currently to place with a publisher or agent.

| One of the most enigmatic figures in the New Testament is Judas Iscariot. Seen as the greatest villain in history, for whom Dante reserved a special place in the deepest pit of Hell, the role of Judas is enigmatic and gives rise to many questions. Why did he do what he did? Did he have any choice in his betrayal or was it ordained by powers beyond his control, perhaps even beyond his understanding? This play looks at the powers that competed for Judas's loyalty and obedience, and the torments that led him to betray the most famous figure in world history. | |||||

Synopsis: | The perpetrator of the most famous series of crimes in history will be forever known by the chilling nickname of Jack the Ripper. In Bloodshadow a man obsessively dwells on the crimes, their motives and their horrors. Is he the Ripper himself, confined to an asylum? Is he an obsessive disciple, consumed with the awful deeds of his dark master? Is he a deluded madman, imagining himself controlled by the will and the spirit of the most savage killer who ever blighted the world? There are no simple answers - nor, perhaps, in the study of the darkest reaches of the human soul, should there be?

Synopsis: | Based on true events which occurred in the city of Nuremberg in 1828, this play tells of the early days in the known life of Kaspar Hauser. This boy, apparently about 16 years of age, appeared as though from nowhere on the streets of the city and the most determined efforts failed to throw any light on who he was or where he came from. From then until the time of his violent death in 1833, Kaspar remained an enigma. Running Time: 45-50 minutes.
