Synopsis: Faye and Willie Mae Nettles, two eccentric Mormon women live at the edge of Buster Swamp in mythical Sugar Bean, Florida. Faye is awaiting the return of the space ship that landed many years before and has landed the cover of the "Weekly World News", a lurid supermarket tabloid. Willie Mae years for a good Mormon husband so that she will be allowed to enter the Celestial Kingdom upon her death. On the anniversary of the night Faye's "space friends" originally landed in the middle of the Nettles' sugarcane field, Miss Videllia Sparks, a mysterious "bird woman" from New Orleans, arrives on the sisters' doorstep and madness soon ensues. Synopsis: The Bean family in Sugar Bean, Florida live under an ancient family curse. The surviving members of the town's founding family have reached the end of their rope.
