Synopsis: | Hold-Up: A black owner of an art gallery struggling to survive the recession is held up by a white hood. No money is to be had, but the fast-speaking, suave owner entices the thief to stay until he finally goes off with several prints. This plan is interrupted and almost spoiled by the unexpected entrance of a suburban housewife, resting from her shopping. As the thief finally leaves with the pictures, the owner hides more in a closet and quickly phones the local TV news station that he has had a major art theft. | |||||

Synopsis: | Mr. Stefan: An eccentric Soviet scientist, who is always inventing the wrong thing at the wrong time in the wrong place, is sent by the powers-that-be, on a rest-cure cruise with an eminent psychiatrist to straighten out his noggin and put him in step with the bureaucracy. Mr. Stefan, however, 'stefanizes" the psychiatrist who turns out to be equally eccentric at heart. The threat of Siberia for each does not prevent them from soaring off into ethereal solutions for mankind's problems. | |||||
