Synopsis:
Terry picks up Leslie in a public convenience and brings him home. He is very disappointed to discover he is not, as he thought a lorry driver, but another actor. So Terry wants him to leave - but Leslie discovers that Terry is into mild s&m and has a policeman's uniform and a cane. Leslie dresses up and "intergorgates" Terry and punishes him. Time passes - both drink far too much, Terry is always very neurotic - that Leslie will abandon him, that people will discover he is gay, that he is from a higher class than Leslie. Leslie is happy with his sexuality but he is promiscuous - giving Terry another worry. Eventually Leslie moves in with Terry. He starts writing and eventually completes a play which Terry helps with revisions and help on how the upper middle class would behave in certain situations. When things are at there most bleak - money has run out and jobs are scarce. Leslie gets offered a role in a soap and his play is accepted for performance. The play is a hit and Hollywood is interested. But the two men have "demons" they must lay to rest - each has not been quite honest with the other about their past lives. But love conquers all.
