Mosquito

Synopsis:
Two men, Jim and Sam, are hitching north on the Pacific Highway for some fruit-picking. Late one autumn night, they find themselves without a lift on the side of the road. Through their conversation, we gradually learn that Jim found Sam on the beach with a needle in his arm and has taken it upon himself to 'rescue' the boy by getting him out of the city. Sam in his turn 'rescues' Jim from a slough of guilt by forcing him to confront himself and his motives.
