Kay Poiro is an award-winning screenwriter and internationally produced playwright. Her stage plays have been performed across the United States and around the world, including London, Sydney, Seoul, and JohAnnesburg. Her T.V. pilot "Brewster Commons" won Best Short Screenplay at the 2014 Harlem International Film Festival and most recently, she was a participant in the Writer's Guild Foundation's 2015 Veteran Writers Retreat in Los Angeles, California. Kay is a member of the Dramatists Guild of America and lives in Maryland.
