Born in Kilgore, TX on September 7, 1937. Attended Eastern New Mexico U. Was there at the beginning of the Off Off Broadway movement at the Caffe Cino and La Mama. He is dedicated to the idea that the Theater is a personally responsible art form on a level with painting, poetry, novels, etc. An essentially new idea born with Off Off Broadway because Off Off Broadway was the first wide-spread, long-term, theater movement free of critical, political, academic, financial, religious, military and legal restrictions. Has written for many magazines, TV, films and poetry journals.

River Jordan
Synopsis:
1930s. A workingman's bar, the Depression. To earn a little money Ray goes with richer men but only when he is sufficiently drunk. His regular client John-Bo is giving him up and passing him onto his friend Casdale. They have arranged to meet so that John-Bo can introduce them. Ray arrives and starts drinking heavily. Aegis arrives to take John-Bo to his wedding rehearsal - the reason he is giving up Ray. Casadale gets cold feet over Ray - gives him $3 and leaves with John-Bo and Aegis. Aegis returns. Ray is upset with the $3 as he usually only gets 50 cents. He persuades Aegis to take him home. Some time later Aegis and Ray are returning from Europe. Aegis has been sending money to Ray's wife - but Ray has no desire to see her again. Ray is worried that Aegis will ditch him once they arrive in New York. Ray who still has to get drunk to have sex has not realised that they are in love and that Aegis has no intention of letting him go.
