Synopsis:
An assassination attempt is made on a Presidential candidate who has returned to his rural home town. The Law sets Out to discover who shot him. Unfortunately, both the sheriff and his deputy are suspects, as well as the victim's old girlfriend who is now the local TV "Weather Woman." The hospital waiting room set up by the police as a command post is invaded by a gun-toting young couple who appear to be intent on finishing the assassination.
