Ten Pence For The Swear Box
| | Company |
|
Synopsis:
A retired couple discover an armed bank robber in their cottage, but is he as dangerous as he seems, or could there be some other, more innocent, reason for his presence? He soon realises that the old folks are not as intimidated as they should be, and that one thing they cannot stand is the use of certain words... This is the third Act of the full-length comedy 'A Hint of Old World Charm' by the same author, though the story is complete in itself, and its emphasis on family humour has proved especially popular with audiences at amdram competitions.
