Synopsis: The Lightning Field is an art installation in the New Mexico Desert created by sculptor Walter de Maria consisting of four hundred stainless steel poles. Sam and Andy are on holiday in New Mexico hoping that the break will help repair their floundering relationship. Both their parents are divorced and Sam's father, Gerrit and Andy's mother, Lori are accompanying them. Lori and Gerrit want to help their sons as they do not want them to make the same mistakes with their lives as they did. Sam and Andy have noticed that their parents seem to be getting very close and start to wonder if they are going to end up as step-brothers. The four go to the Lightning Field where Sam hopes to propose to Andy. | ||||
