Synopsis: | Pepsi-Cola Kid is a contemporary Youth Musical which is humanistic-educational and portrays an ambitious and industrious seventeen year old girl from a poor background who cannot afford to go to college. She vends Pepsi-cola products during the day in a mobile cart. In the evenings she invests her commissions on attending night school to further her educational and career ambitions. Her favorite stand is at the border between two adjacent high schools where a cold-war exists amongst students of the two schools. The Musical is filled with abundant good cheer and catchy song-chant slogans. The music is exhilarating and the dialogue thrilling whilst educational at the same time. | |||||
