NAKIB NARAT was brought up in Blackburn, Lancashire. His professional experience includes writing and presenting for Radio, Stage and Television (Granada TV News, BBC World Service, Radio 4 and "Breakfast Time"). He is also a qualified official Blue Badge Guide for Ireland and The Uk. He completed the London Blue Badge Guide Cursein the 80s He was recently in a large featured role as "The Priest" in "Coronation Street" and has played John Proctor in "The Crucible" at The Unity Theatre amongst other theatre roles. One of his plays "The Bollywood Girls of Blackburn" (also a Rom-Com Musical) was staged in central Manchester last summer and was extensively featured in the Press including Radio Manchester, Radio Lancashire, "Manchester Evening News" and "The Lancashire Telegraph." His current play "Sabab-Northern Souls" has had extensive Press comment and is due to tour in the summer of 2016. It is currently being performed as part of The Chorlton Festival of Love 2016.

Synopsis:
Lonely ,33 year old, Nora Atkinson 's home is the old Mill town of Blackburn. But her Heart is in the romantic, colourful, dream world of Bollywood. Her Dad Jack's annoying jokes and the Postman's infatuation with her are becoming unbearable. The only escape from dreary reality are best mates Rosie and Megan as they swoon over their fantasy lover: Starry King of Bollywood - "The Khan".Everyone's lives then unravel to an astonishing conclusion with the arrival next door of the larger than life Shakalaka Kaki and her handsome son Gaylord.A hugely entertaining Comedy Musical with nineteen original songs that will have you dancing home with delight.
