Rory's plays include Single Sex (Royal Exchange) and Come to Where I'm From (Paines Plough). In 2010, Rory was Writer-on-Attachment at the Royal Court and in 2011 he was made Pearson Playwright-in-Residence at the Royal Exchange, Manchester. Rory is also a translator of Russian drama, plays include Remembrance Day (Royal Court) and Pagans (rehearsed reading, Royal Court). He has also translated plays for the ADC Theatre, Cambridge, the Free Theatre of Belarus and Radio Russia.
