Heather Morrow took Drama in high school, decided it wouldn't be her career. . .then won a playwriting contest. She has been writing since 1995 and has had productions with Edmonton's Carnival of Shrieking Youth, Theatre Network's NextFest, Walterdale Playhouse and the Edmonton Fringe Festival. She lived in Scotland for a time, producing her play Take a Bite at the 2007 Edinburgh Festival Fringe, earning great reviews and notoriety for her banana fetish. She earned her Masters in Creative Writing at the University of New Brunswick, and was the first runner-up in Calgary's 24-Hour-Playwriting competition in 2009.

Crushed

Synopsis:
Liv is the older, practical sister, Ness is the younger, pretty one. Liv is on her own, Ness lives with a boyfriend, Corey, whom she loves . . . and who loves her. But Corey's love includes swearing, hitting and punching. Whenever that happens, Ness runs to Liv, then runs right back to Corey. Tonight, Liv is fed up when Ness appears yet again. . . but tonight, something is horribly different.

Mischief in Fez

Synopsis:
In the whole magical city of Fez, ten-year-old MoUSA has the best house, the best nurse Loualou, and the BEST father, Muhammed. But when Muhammed remarries and MoUSA's new stepmother brings home a gazelle named Allak, terrible things begin to happen in their wonderful house, and MoUSA gets the blame. MoUSA finds out Allak is a spirit, an evil djinn. To get rid of the nasty gazelle, MoUSA must get the help of the good djinn, Baha the fox. Watch our heroes MoUSA and Baha do battle against Allak and all the evil djinns in Morocco!

Take A Bite

Synopsis:
When 33-year-old Vera awakes in a bare, locked room with a bloodied young man, she immediately assumes it's a game of her manipulative boyfriend. the 18-year-old man, Dion, is sure they've put in the cells for a comedown-it's happened to him before. With nothing else to do and unable to keep Dion quiet, Vera is drawn into conversation with him, and drawn out of herself.
