Tony Moore was born in the UK, emigrated to Australia as a child and has lived and worked in both the UK and Australia in the amateur and professional theatre worlds. He began writing to produce short scripts for young people he was teaching and discovered he enjoyed it. He is now resident in Adelaide South Australia and is happily working and writing there. Synopsis: | A young woman dies of apparent anaemia in a Surrey Sanatorium. When her best friend begins to exhibit the same symptoms her Doctor sends for an expert from Holland called Van Helsing. He advises that he believes that a vampire is involved. The others scoff but eventually suspicion begins to point to a new neighbour Count Dracula. The action mounts to an eventual climax in the cellars of Carfax, Count Dracula's home. What more can be said, it's based on the original book, a script from the 1920's and a film script from the 1950's but most of the dialogue is original except what comes direct from the book. | |||||
