Average American

Synopsis:
Average American takes place during the making of a potentially groundbreaking (fictional) television series. A serious comedy that intentionally focuses on the "writers' room" and explores the pressure of the creative process involved in launching a new TV show, made even riskier by the added responsibility of having to do justice to its particular subject matter: lesbians.

Confessions Of A Female Disorder

Confessions Of A Female Disorder
the non-linear journey of a woman who is wrestling with her sexuality, her work, a new awareness of other women, and her relationship with her husband. Moving laterally in time, her quest is often interrupted by someone or some event that she is not ready to deal with: i.e., during a college scene, her husband shows up in her dorm room. Ronnie, the central character, sometimes speaks to the audience as if she were footnoting. During her college years, Ronnie has an intimate and confusing relationship with another young woman, Coop. In their adult life, they consummate this sexually, although it opens a new set of choices.
