Biography of Martin Millar

Originally from Glasgow but lives in London. Has written plays, short stories, articles and most recently screenplays but is best known for his novels, the titles of which include "LOVE AND PEACE WITH MELODY PARADISE", "MILK, SULPHATE AND ALBY STARVATION", "LUX THE POET", "DREAMS OF SEX AND STAGE DIVING", "THE GOOD FAIRIES OF NEW YORK" and published in April 2002, "SUZY, LED ZEPPELIN AND ME". Under the pseudonym of Martin Scott he writes the science fantasy series "THRAXAS" for which he won the prestigious US 'World Fantasy Award' in 2001. He co-wrote with Doon Mackichan an adaptation of Austen's "EMMA" which opened at the Edinburgh Festival 2000 and transferred to Watford Palace in the same year. Also in 2001, Ruby Films/Sky Pictures optioned his first spec screenplay "TANYA FASHION QUEEN". Created the format for teen show "DOLPHIN SQUAD" for Keith Chapman Productions/Universal and is developing original ideas for film and tv.
