He has been produced in New York City and at regional theaters through the United States as well as in Europe and Japan. Screen credits include HALF A LIFETIME, COUSINS (with Ted Danson and Isabella Rossellini), JACKNIFE (with Robert De Niro and Ed Harris), ROOMMATES (with Peter Falk and Juliane Moore) and BEAUTIFUL JOE (with Sharon Stone and Billy Connelly) which he directed. He was also a contributing writer on PRETTY WOMAN, ARACHNOPHOBIA, IT COULD HAPPEN TO YOU and MR. HOLLAND'S OPUS. Other original screenplays include TIME FLIES, VEIL ON THE WATER, TENNESSEE VALLEY, THE OLD BOY, JONAH, THE INFIELD, SIGNIFICANT OTHERS, GRIM REAPER, SCYLLA, THE TRAGIC AGE, PASSING FANCY and AN INNOCENT ABROAD as well as numerous rewrites. Television pilots include SUMMER, THE CITY AND SHANE MCGOWAN, TENNESSEE BUREAU OF INVESTIGATION(all for CBS), PUBLIC AFFAIRS, 1944 (for ABC), THE APPRENTICE (for UPN) and JOE MATHIAS (for CBS). He is an Associate Artist at The Old Globe Theatre in San Diego.
