A man walks on the moon. A ship transporting a fortune in gold sinks in a hurricane. A country awaits the return of their brave soldiers at the end of a great and terrible war. These are just some of the moments that impact the lives of the characters in "An American House," a play by Lisa Nanni-Messegee and Todd Messegee (writers of the made for TV movie, "Romantically Speaking" starring Heather Morris.) The story takes place in a single home in the imaginary town of Linden Falls, New York and presents one hundred and fifty years of American history, showing how those events change the lives of the people who live in this American house. "An American House" is a play for all ages, steeped in a love of family and country.

Notes:
Written by LisaNanni-Messegee and Tod Messegee. The play spans 150 years of American history. Minimum cast of 12 with 30+ roles for multi-casting.
