Synopsis: It is May 1942. The Japanese are striking out against the Allied Forces on land, sea and air, the defense of Port Morseby via the Kokoda Trail is about to begin, the declared pacifist, John Curtin, is Prime Minister of Australia and a murderer walks the Melbourne black outs, killing woman at random. Through all this, we follow the stories of ten people, separate, but connected by the one thing war cannot kill - love, in all its permeations.
