Rosemary McLaughlin. Her plays, including Motherless Child, the Red Wagon and Standing In the Shadows, have been performed in New York, Minneapolis, Chicago, Sacramento, and London. She has been awarded fellowships from the New Jersey State Council on the Arts for her plays and poetry, which have been published in anthologies, including Classroom Scenes And Monologues (Dramatic Publishing); Intimate Acts (Brito Lair); the X-Y Files and Written With A Spoon (Sherman Asher). the Chair, a dark comedy about global politics, recently premiered at the Provincetown Theatre Company, and her current work, Paterson Falls, was commissioned by Playwrights Theatre of NJ. It is part of the American Moment trilogy, which explores silks strikes, salons and the founding of the Provincetown Players, against the backdrop of World War I. As a producer she co-founded the Win Atkins Play Project and the Hallie Flanagan Play Series at Wings Theatre Company. Recent directing credits include Byrony Lavery's Last Easter and Lisa Kron's 101 Humiliating Stories. She is a member of the Dramatists Guild and heads the Playwriting program at Drew University.
