Synopsis: Can murder be an act of love? Based on a true story, "Have Mercy" explores a case of infanticide as a result of incest. Using excerpts from actual court documents, newspaper articles and letters to the minister of justice the piece also explores the community's reaction to the events. Ultimately, through the relationship between mother and daughter "Have Mercy" explores the journey to healing and forgiveness. | ||||
