Synopsis: Color Schemes is about Robert, who desperately hopes his first solo art show will be the springboard to free him from the drudgery of teaching. He has cultivated the friendship of art critic Eric in hopes of getting a favorable review of this important show. But as the show opens, Eric informs Robert that he has resigned as art critic.
