Synopsis:
It's Bill Grimes first day on his new job as head of Research and Development. The only thing is he has not been told what he is to do in this new job. His supervisor tells him he will try to find out for him (from the people on the "Third Floor"). Meanwhile, he is accused of interloping in an office romance, workplace rumor mongering, ruthless ambition, and generally causing unwanted questioning and doubt among his co-workers. He also learns that all his predecessors had committed suicide-or maybe not. Will he make it through his first day without being fired-or promoted?

Rick Lee and Artie Crepeau once played in a band together. They had a falling out and now Rick, a one-hit wonder, has come back to their hometown to play a gig.
