Synopsis: | From The Beautiful Soup Theater Collective comes a world premiere re-telling of the classic Lewis Carroll story Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. This time, though, things are just a little bit different. When young American Alice follows a mime from a suburban park into an elevator, she finds herself in a strange new world. Loosely inspired by Chagall's painting Paris Through The Window, Alice encounters a caterpillar with no legs, two little runts with very sticky fingers, and a very naughty Queen. There's a Caucus Race and a deck of characters that seem familiar and new at the same time. Alice frugs with the familiar characters to her heart's content and re-discovers the joys of being a kid. | |||||
