Lizzie Maxwell is a writer, actress, producer, in no certain order. She wrote her first play, "Just Bring Me One Rose" as a teenager, and won awards for her second play at age 20, "Chocolates for SashA." She moved West from Massachusetts to pursue her dream of being an actress in 1984 and has been seen in many television shows including ER, L.A. Law, General Hospital, to name a few. Three years ago, she turned her screenplay, "Fixing Rhonda" into a movie that is now up for sale. She has produced stage plays and short films as well. Confessions of a Nice Jewish Girl was her comeback play in 2006 and tells the story of her life as told by five women and a guy chronicling the 60's to present time. She is the author of "Little Fish in a Big Pond - A Support Guide for Actors."

Confessions Of A Nice Jewish Girl

Synopsis:
One woman's journey through the decades, 60's to the 00's, as told by five women and a guy. Told with music, visuals and banter, the story begins with the young Rikki having no direction in life, to the 50ish Di who knows that life's too short to drink bad wine, besides, she's reached her liquor limit in this lifetime. the themes of this play are addiction, self-esteem, menopause, and self-acceptance. the characters are colorful and humorous.
