We needed somewhere to put everything we have now. And everything we might create later. Layers are put upon layers. Myriad sources contribute irregular pieces. Non Contact Time

Synopsis:
end of term in a Primary School and as the teachers gather in the staffroom they talk of holidays, pupils and who gets the end-of-term bullet. Granger is still young enough to be idealistic, Browning lost his ideals years ago and Ms Archer is disappearing behind her attainment targets. Plume

Synopsis:
Who decides between justice and mercy? Who is entitled to vengeance? Who left a bird perch in an etap hotel room? Maller, a bellboy, and her former primary teacher Mr Peters, imagine who the previous guest was. And what bird flew through that window. the same window she stopped Mr Peters jumping from moments ago. Miner and canary? Wizard and phoenix? Magician and dove? they make a pact: whoever comes up with the best story wins. the prize of course being a matter of life or death. A dark comedy about ethics and all the birds you can possibly imagine

Plume was one of the final three plays shortlisted in the Tron theatre's Open.Stage Playwriting competition in 2010 And received A rehearsed reading in the Changing House in October of that year. West Yorkshire Playhouse subsequently commissioned J.C. Marshall to develop the play further And we Acknowledge their role in the script development process.

Tender Dearly

Synopsis:
A contemporary adaptation of the 'Orpheus in the Underworld' myth. Five lost souls in a shabby bar. Phoebe, bar tender and borderline alcoholic, enjoys late drinking sessions with bar owner Irvine, the most lost of them all. When Phoebe's ex turns up, she has to make a choice: who can be saved and who has to be left behind?
