Synopsis: 3 stories from 2 different perspectives about 3 women from different periods in history. . .all called Scarlet Billows.1. the pOppy stealer: Scarlet Billows steals poppies from a war memorial to make a shrine to here dead husband. Ghosts, mental fragility, balloons, Vera Lynn and angry statues all vie for Scarlet's attention in this little tale of grief. 2. the army is reality: Scarlet Billows goes to enlist and finds a new improved celebrity army, whose mission is now television. "What better way to serve your country than on T.V?" 3. blueberry hill: Scarlet Billows finds herself kidnapped by her nemesis Scary Bill, a soldier suffering from post traumatic stress. What ensues is farce, death and poetry. . .not necessarily in the order.
