Synopsis: | A play based upon the longest siege in British history when an English garrison occupied Broughty Castle from 1547 till 1550 during the war with Scotland. The castle was used as the set resulting in the audience being seated literally in the middle of the set. The story followed the breakdown in relations between the members of the garrison during the final days of the siege as they realized the long-awaited relief was not going to come. | |||||
